Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Failpilot (ABN 95 382 595 916) is operated by Rebecca, Australia ("we"). Contact: [email protected].
The service
Failpilot connects to your Stripe account with a restricted API key you provide. It emails your customers when a subscription payment fails (with a Stripe-hosted card-update link), sends a one-question survey when a subscription is cancelled, and sends you a weekly digest.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to contact your customers and to share their details with us for these purposes.
- You are responsible for the content of templates you edit, and for complying with laws that apply to your emails (including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) where relevant).
- Keep your account email secure; sign-in uses one-time email links.
Pricing
Free until Failpilot has recorded $100 (USD equivalent) as recovered. After that, $9 USD/month via Stripe Checkout, cancellable any time. "Recovered" means an invoice paid after at least one reminder was sent; it is an estimate, not proof our email caused the payment. Reminders pause if the free allowance is used and you have not subscribed.
No guarantee
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any amount will be recovered or that every email will be delivered. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 3 months. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending
You can disconnect Stripe or stop using Failpilot at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
